The city of Rio de Janeiro’s city, the Rio artist Panmela Castro has painted the mural “Nice” on the façade of the Boulevard Olímpico. According to Greek mythology, Nice is the goddess that personifies victory, triumph and glory. Represented by a winged woman, she is considered to be a source of good luck for all athletes and warriors. The Boulevard Olímpico is a space in the city that has undergone a long and radical reform for the Olympic Games, and during the event it is hosting daily exhibitions of shows and broadcasts of Olympic tests: it is one of the biggest spaces for watching the games.
